why did I become a wedding celebrant?

After many years of being a guest at beautiful weddings, sharing in the gorgeous stories of friends and being surrounded by so much love, weddings still get me in the feels every time!

Following a commitment ceremony I held for two beautiful friends, a guest approached me to share a few quiet words, he said “that was the most awesome ceremony I have ever been to, thank you so much”! After planting a peck on my cheek, he was gone, off to enjoy the celebrations! The proudness I felt at that moment was something else, and his words brought on the happy tears. Coupled with the joy of helping my friends create their beautiful ceremony, and knowing that the guests were as chuffed as I was, was all I needed to make it official!
